Getting Started

1. Create a Free Account
Sign up with your email. No credit card required. Access to submit unlimited ideas and choose monetization mode.

2. Submit Your Raw Idea + Choose Mode
Fill out the form (up to 5000 characters). Toggle: "Quick Sell" for instant sales OR "CrowdBuild" for staged crowdfunding.

Writing a Good Idea Submission

✅ What to Include:

  • Problem: What pain point does this solve?
  • Solution: How does your idea address it?
  • Target Audience: Who will use this? (demographics, industries)
  • Unique Value: What makes this different from existing solutions?
  • Revenue Model: How would this make money? (subscription, marketplace, ads, etc.)
  • Technical Approach: Any specific tech stack, platforms, or implementation ideas
  • Market Context: Any trends, regulations, or opportunities in Europe

❌ What NOT to Submit:

  • Vague concepts like "an app for everything"
  • Ideas already built by major companies (e.g., "Facebook for dogs")
  • Illegal, unethical, or harmful concepts
  • Ideas requiring impossible technology
  • Single-sentence descriptions without detail

💡 Pro Tip:

Upload mockups, diagrams, or reference documents (up to 10MB). Visual context helps our AI generate better logos and understand your vision more clearly.

What Happens After Submission?

AI Enhancement (5-10 minutes):
Our AI automatically generates:

  • Catchy, market-ready title
  • One-sentence elevator pitch
  • European TAM/SAM analysis (Total Addressable Market / Serviceable Available Market)
  • Top 3 existing competitors in Europe
  • Suggested selling price (€199-€9,999) based on market potential
  • 3 professional logo variants (PNG format)
  • Hero illustration for marketing
  • 3 domain name suggestions (.eu/.com)
  • Risk analysis and potential challenges
  • AI viability score (0-100)

You'll receive an email when processing is complete. All materials appear in your dashboard with status "Draft."

Review & Publish

Go to Your Dashboard:
Navigate to "Dashboard" to see all your ideas. Click on any draft idea to review the AI-generated package.

Quality Check:
Review the title, pitch, market analysis, logos, and pricing. While our AI is highly accurate, you know your idea best. Unfortunately, editing is not yet available (coming soon).

Publish to Marketplace:
When satisfied, click "Publish" to make your idea visible to buyers. Your idea enters a queue for admin review (usually within 24-48 hours). Once approved, it goes live.

Can I Unpublish?
Yes! You can unpublish your idea anytime before it sells. Once sold, the listing is marked as "Sold" and removed from the marketplace.

Pricing & Revenue

How Pricing Works:
Our AI suggests a price between €199 and €9,999 based on market potential, complexity, and European demand. Higher scores = higher prices.

Revenue Split:

  • You (Seller): 85% of sale price
  • IdeaMart Platform Fee: 15% of sale price

Example: If your idea sells for €2,000:
• You receive: €1,700
• Platform fee: €300

Payment Processing:
Payouts are processed via Stripe within 5-7 business days after the sale. You'll need to connect your bank account or provide payout details.

The Process:

🆕 CrowdBuild Mode: Staged Crowdfunding

How It Works:
Campaigns divided into 3 phases. Each unlocks after previous completes with backer votes.

  • Phase 1: Prototype (€1k-5k) — 10-50 local backers (geo-restricted, e.g., Berlin-only). Build MVP with community feedback.
  • Phase 2: Marketing/Validation (€5k-20k) — Expand to region (e.g., Baden-Württemberg). Non-cash contributions accepted (skills for equity).
  • Phase 3: Scale (€20k+) — Open to EU. Full reports from prior phases unlock funds.

AI Advisor:
AI analyzes your idea and recommends funding type (rewards-based, equity, partner-based). Uses 100k+ datasets for >70% success prediction.

Transparency:
Auto-generate phase reports (videos, photos, updates) to unlock funds. Failed phases: return or rollover via backer vote.

Backer Rewards:

Do I lose rights to my idea after submission?

No. You retain all rights until it's purchased. Only then do rights transfer to the buyer.

What happens if no one buys my idea?

Ideas stay listed indefinitely. You can unpublish anytime if you decide to build it yourself.
